This Privacy Policy explains how Relevant Records ("CRE8," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use CRE8 at usecre8.com (the "Service"). We keep it plain: we collect what we need to run CRE8, and we don't sell your personal data.
We do not sell your personal information, and we don't use the private content you upload to train third-party AI models on your behalf beyond what's needed to produce your requested outputs.
We share limited data with trusted providers only as needed to run CRE8:

Automatic transcription. If you choose Auto-transcribe, a copy of that audio is sent to our speech-to-text provider (Groq) purely to convert speech to timed text, and is returned to us as lyrics. We do not send it to be used for training, and we do not send your audio anywhere else for this purpose. Lyric alignment and beat/key analysis still run on our own servers.
You can avoid this entirely. If you type or paste your own lyrics instead of using auto-transcribe, your audio is never sent to a transcription provider — and it is also the more accurate option. Video rendering/export happens locally in your own browser and is never uploaded for processing.
These providers are bound to use the data only to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of CRE8 and its users.
Your account data and uploaded content are stored on servers in the European Union (Finland), operated by us on infrastructure from our providers (including Hetzner and Supabase), with Cloudflare providing domain, DNS, and network delivery. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — such as password hashing, access controls, and encrypted connections — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
We keep your account information and content while your account is active. If you delete content or close your account, we delete or de-identify the associated data within a reasonable period, except where we need to retain it to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes.
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Email hello@usecre8.com and we'll help.
Depending on where you live (including under Canada's PIPEDA and similar laws), you may have rights to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in and to operate the Service. We don't use them to sell your data. You can control cookies through your browser, though the Service may not work properly without the essential ones.
CRE8 is not intended for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.
CRE8 is operated from Canada, and your account data and uploaded content are stored on servers in the European Union (Finland). Some providers (for example, Stripe) may process data in the United States or other countries. Wherever your information is processed, it may be subject to data-protection laws different from those in your own country.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to notify you. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the current version.
